✨ Step-by-step Guide: Light Me Up Diwali Card

Materials Needed:

• Printed Diwali card template (free to download)
• Copper tape (conductive)
• LED light (any color, 5mm recommended)
• CR2032 coin cell battery
• Clear tape / glue
• Scissors

Step 1: Print and Fold the Card

Print the free template on cardstock. Click here for the free download.

Step 2: Stick the Copper Tape

On the inside of the card, stick copper tape along the printed paths. This creates your circuit.

Step 3: Place and Secure the LED

Insert the LED legs through the small hole at the diya flame spot.

• Long leg = positive (+) copper tape
• Short leg = negative (–) copper tape
  Secure the legs with tape so they touch the copper strips.

Step 4: Connect the Battery

Tape the CR2032 battery at the circle mark. Ensure the + side faces up so it matches the circuit.

Step 5: Test the Circuit

Fold the corner along the dotted line and press it. If the LED lights up, your circuit works!

 

Step 6: Light it Up!

Your Diwali card is ready 🎉. Press the marked corner to make the diya glow.
